The development of agroecology is a desirable alternative to mainstream agriculture to speed up the transition of our food system towards sustainability. But is it profitable? Yes, according to this study, which reviews the scientific literature and analyses twenty-three reference frameworks related to agroecology. In particular, organic agriculture appears to be the most efficient from an economic and environmental point of view today. |
