Résumé : |
Yields forecast decreasing in the close future due to global warning. Increasing ozone, due to humain pollution, influct on the crops together with CO2 level and higher temperature. This study, part of the EU Climate Café project, presents the impact of ozone and global warning under current conditions and that of 2050, as well as the factors of this warning tested separately. For this, 3 varieties of spring wheat of European origins, separated into 8 treatments, were grown in 6 different atmospheres. Our results show a real impact of ozone during growth, activities of spring wheat but also on yields, and that the current climate (control) is the best. On the other hand, hot temperatures are not necessarely beneficial to crops, CO2 is very favorable to it, and is able to counterbalance patially of (1/3) the influence of ozone. Under our experimental conditions, a reduction of about 30% in yields is envisaged between today and 2050. This results will be integrated later on the STICS model.
